The show has 3 main characters
Speedy Cerviche, Polly Ester, and Guido Anchovy.
These 3 are the good guys who fight the bad guys known as Big Cheese, Bad Bird, Jerry Atrick, the Ninja Crows, and the Rude Noise. The cats alway turn the bad guys great plans into yesterdays news which makes for a very funny cartoon show. ^_^

The B-Team (I think) is made up of four cats, General Catton, Spritz the Cat, Meowzma, and Bat Cat. They each have special powers like the 3 cats. General Catton has fire, Spritz has water, Meowzma has earth, and Bat Cat has the air. These cats aren't emphasized as much as the 3 stars and they look kinda okward in a strange sense (to me that is), they are usually called in if Speedy, Polly, and Guido are too weak and need help, then Speedy rings his little bell and contacts Francise back at the Pizza Parlor who then contacts the B-Team and sometimes sends all or one of them out to help them out and they usually finish the job or let Speedy destroy the monster. |
Well, coincidently, the pizza cats came out in 1990 in Japan and were known as Kyatto Ninden Teyandee (Hehe, I can always remember this name). They were around for about a year or so (the show was a great hit in Japan and stayed on for about 5 to 6 years!) before being sold worldwide and who do you guess bought them, well Saban purchased them and started making different language versions of the show, cutting out some parts that might not of made any sense to us and toning down on a bit of stuff. The show finally debuted in 1996 here in America and sadly only stayed around for about a year or two and showed 40 episodes here in the USA and then started dropping out. Anyway, here in Southern California, UPN 13 showed the Samurai Pizza Cats at 7:30 AM every week day for a very long time.(This is just a little bit of information that I just thought of from the top of my head, more to come though)
